Wonder Woman – Trailer vs. Movie #34 (-8.7)

As is typical with all my posts, please be aware there are possible spoilers.

The trailer that I watched for this movie is below:

Wonder Woman is the movie that DC fans have been looking for.  And is plenty here for fans to like.  Wonder Woman takes place during WW1 ‘The war to end all wars’ and is a origin story.  Historically origin stories do get a bad wrap, generally being under whelming, but Wonder Woman bucks that trend, for the most part.

There are a couple stretches that Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) does seem to struggle with.  But it for the most part is easily over looked.  The story is pretty straight forward and thankfully the main antagonist is not exposed during the trailer, though do enough research on the internet and the main villain is who many suspected.

I did have some problems with the way Chris Pine’s character, Steve Trevor, never seemed to figure out what Wonder Woman was and there is a constant nagging at her.  Even though she just threw a armored car across the road, he still thinks she is in constant danger.

This is the one that everyone wanted, now hopefully Justice League can deliver next.

The trailer shows enough of the action and only gives away enough of the plot to give you a interest in the movie.

(10/10 is a perfect rating)

9.5/10 – Movie Rating

10/10 – Trailer Rating

End Credit Scene? – No
